Discover Lake Kerkini, in northern Greece, one of Europe’s most spectacular wetlands and an essential destination for nature photography enthusiasts. During the trip, we will take 4 boat excursions, making the most of the early morning and late afternoon hours, when the light is at its best and bird activity is at its highest. We will have the opportunity to photograph impressive Dalmatian pelicans, great white pelicans, pygmy cormorants and many other waterbird species at close range in this protected natural area.
With the snow-covered mountains of the Belasica Massif providing a spectacular backdrop, Lake Kerkini offers unique photographic opportunities for both experienced photographers and those taking their first steps in wildlife photography.
